PRODUCT APPLICATION

For best results, an application of TEK021 Plastics Adhesion Promoter is recommended. Prepare the area to be treated, ensuring free from silicone, dressings, dust, grime, greases, oils etc with TEK038 Universal Degreaser or suitable alternative and allow to dry. Mask off with masking paper and masking tape to prevent overspray.

Shake the can thoroughly for at least two minutes. Repeat shaking at regular intervals during use. Use at 15 to 25°C in a well ventilated area.

Apply sparingly from a distance of 20 – 25cm. Apply 2 to 3 light coats as necessary to achieve total and even coverage, leaving at least 15 minutes between each application.

Allow to dry for 24 hours to develop maximum paint hardness.

On completion of use, invert can and depress actuator for a few seconds to prevent nozzle blockage.

Where to use:
Rigid, non-porous plastics used in automotive construction.

Where not to use:
Flexible substrates.
