PRODUCT APPLICATION

Prepare the area to be treated, ensuring freedom from dust, grime, traffic film, greases, oils etc, using TEK038 Universal Degreaser or suitable alternative and allow to dry. Rust, other surface contamination, and loosely adhering matter should be removed using a stiff brush or an appropriate grade of wet and dry abrasive paper. Following preparation the surfaces should be further treated with TEK038 Universal Degreaser and allowed to dry.

Mask any rubber or plastics components.

Shake the can thoroughly for at least two minutes. Repeat shaking at regular intervals during use.

Apply sparingly from a distance of 20 – 30cm. Apply typically 2 to 3 coats or as necessary to achieve total and even coverage, leaving 15 – 20 minutes between each application.

This product will dry to maximum hardness within 24 hours, depending upon temperature and coating thickness.

Where to use:
Door sills, wheel arches, fuel tanks, sub frames, chassis etc.

Where not to use:
Applications subject to physical contact, decorative applications, plastics and rubber surfaces, any application where over-painting is required and pre-painted surfaces.
